  10. My Skincare Routine

First let me explain my skin type. My skin is very oily. During the day i have to blot or powder my t zone.  And during the winter season, my skin tends to get drier. Especially around my nose area. I dont get much acne however, besides the normal bump here and there. So overall, i have sensitive and oily skin.

    First things first:

I wash my face day and night using the Lush Dark Angels facial cleanser.  I have been using this product for about a year now and it is such a blessing. This coal and avocado based facial wash has small beads in it so it doubles as a scrub.  Basically i wet my face with warm water, apply a nickel sized amount to my face and scrub away!  Sometimes, i even leave it on longer and it triples as a face mask.  Rinse with cold water. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and grease free (:
I buy about ten dollars worth and it lasts me from 3-5 months!

    On to the next:

Witch Hazel.  I use this as a toner after i cleanse my face with the Dark Angels face wash.  It does a great job clearing away any dirt the wash left behind. You can buy this just about anywhere, for around five dollars.

    Almost Done:

After i cleanse and tone, I use Eucerin’s Everyday Protection Face lotion for sensitive skin.  It also has an spf in it which is great.  If you have dry sensitive skin like me in some areas, Eucerin is a great product to use. My recomended it to me and i haven’t let it go since.  I usually buy this at Rite aid for about five to seven dollars.

    Spot Treatment:

Pimples happen! If i feel a spot coming on, i’ll dab some tea tree oil on my face and leave it on overnight.  By the time i wake up, the pimple is reduced in size and less red. Tea tree oil runs for about eight dollars.

Well there it is! Whats your favorite skin care product?!

  14. Dear Santa,

  15. 3 Things you will always find in my purse

…besides my phone, keys and debit card.

    1. Carmex. I know it is not a very glamorous beauty product, but hey it gets the job done and it is cheap!  My lips feel so smooth and refreshed afterwards. I will never buy another chapstick.
    2. Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer. The world is a dirty dirty place. Enough said!
    3. My mini planner. Between work, school, meetings and a social life.  I am a very busy person and i like to keep organized. You could say i am a bit obsessed.  My planner keeps me on track and stress free.
